It doesn't go to solid, consistent performers. It goes to flashy superstars. It goes to the guys who shock the world with almost above-human performances time and time again. It goes to guys that everybody has been amazed by and enamored with. It goes to legendary performers who leave lasting memories for decades to come. I dare say that this is the problem for both Ingram and McCoy - this year there just isn't enough of a national love affair with these guys. So who are we in love with? Who shocked and amazed us? Who overachieved? He's a running back who wears red, but he's not from
Read more from Heisman Watch 2009: Colt McCoy Needs “Flutie Moment” To Pass Gerhart

Tebow has been nothing but stellar in leading the Florida Gators to the top of the SEC, to the National Championship, and has ammassed every record, trophy, and title you could possibly win along the way. He has been innovative, with his "jump pass" being a fantastically effective creation, he's been a tremendous running quarterback, an accurate and strong-armed passing quarterback, a tremendous team leader, and has impeccable character. But with everyone aiming at him this year, will he be able to live up to the expectations?
Read more from NCAA Quarterbacks 2009: The Top Three Part III – Tim Tebow

Bradford was rated a 3-star prospect and was overshadowed by many of the high-powered recruits in his class. But I'll bet ya anything he didn't mind that a bit. As a red-shirt freshman he won the starting position and never looked back. It's rumored that he reads the story "David and Goliath" before every game - but I've got news for Sam Bradford - he's not David anymore - and everyone he faces will be reading that same book before gametime.
Read more from NCAA Quarterbacks 2009: The Top Three Part II – Sam Bradford

These three quarterbacks are slated to be the premier gunslingers of 2009, but you know there will be others that rise up to steal some of the spotlight before the 2009 season is out. Who will win the Heisman? Who will play for their conference championship? For these three NCAA hometown heroes, nothing will satisfy any of them short of the National Championship - and don't let anyone tell you
Read more from NCAA Quarterbacks 2009: The Top Three Part I – Colt McCoy
