Brantley isn't on anybody's radar this year, except the coaching staff at Florida, but he should be. He's going to see a lot of playing time this year and he's the future at quarterback for the Gators. He'll see tons of playing time in the spring game, and he brings a lot to the
Read more from John Brantley: Florida Gators Backup Quarterback – Spring Game Preview

Tebow has been nothing but stellar in leading the Florida Gators to the top of the SEC, to the National Championship, and has ammassed every record, trophy, and title you could possibly win along the way. He has been innovative, with his "jump pass" being a fantastically effective creation, he's been a tremendous running quarterback, an accurate and strong-armed passing quarterback, a tremendous team leader, and has impeccable character. But with everyone aiming at him this year, will he be able to live up to the expectations?
Read more from NCAA Quarterbacks 2009: The Top Three Part III – Tim Tebow

But not so fast. You have a fifth year senior in Joe Cox that’s more than ready to take the helm and has already been awarded the starting position for 2009. So either Aaron Murray or Zach Mettenberger will take over in 2010? Not so fast, again! You have Logan Gray, a sophomore, a close second behind Cox. But let me tell ya, it’s gonna be all that Gray can do to hold off the two recruits behind him for the starting job in 2010 and beyond – and maybe even for the backup spot in 2009.

Safford and former USC quarterback Mark Sanchez preclude their senior seasons and turn their careers toward the NFL. Stafford is projected to go high in the draft and is one of the top, if not the top QB in the 2009 NFL draft. But being the top quarterback in the draft and becoming a top NFL quarterback is two different things.

Stafford’s strongest trait is his personality – especially his likeability, mental toughness, and leadership qualities. He has always been well-liked by the coaching staff and his teamates. He is storied to be a great leader in the locker room, and his mental toughness and confidence have been evident throughout his career. And now he’s being projected as a possible first pick overall in the NFL draft. Many Detroit Lions
Read more from Matthew Stafford Has The Mind To Lead In The NFL
